A new garden for social optimism
Our proposal of park infrastructures redesign constitutes an integrated landscape of cultural surfaces. It embodies and manifests multiple layers of landforms, history, tradition, technological innovations, collective and popular recreations. The park expresses a tableau of evolving relationships, momentum and self-organizing structures of patterns and events. It moves beyond a simple functionalism in favor of models that promote adaptability, technical cooperation, technical innovation, comfort, and pleasure. The subdivision of the surfaces of the site into these major elements, provide a contemporary template for a co-evolving system of mutual interconnection.

    Activity landscape
Numerous programs are instituted along the thickened perimeter of the site. Each program adopts a particular response to its context, allowing a symbiotic relationship to develop between the immediate surrounding, existing trees and a new network of pedestrian paths. These landscape are seen as interpretable elements offering each a separate and unique identity.

    Open field
The open field reasserts the measured Balinese ideology of TRI ANGGA, and establishes this grass meadow at the scale of the topographical space with modern interpretation. It is a site for sports for all seasons, picnics, kite flying, ceremonial processions, performances, openness, nothingness, and the unplanned. Maximum openness and optimistic possibility constitute functional and social integration as a whole.
